Shooting Scene Reconstruction
By examining evidence left by the discharge of a firearm(s) many
aspects of the case can be revealed by investigating the evidence.
Whether it be the expended bullets and shell casings or impacts on
permanent fixtures as well as clothing. Distance determination can many
times be determined by examining the clothing evidence. This coupled with
viewing of Coroner photos and reports when pertinent.
Microscopic Analysis and Test Fires
Fired bullets and Casing many times leave a trail that can be identified
through microscopic comparisons of the firearms evidence. Whether checking
the work of the police laboratories findings or initial examination of
evidence in prosecution of suspects or during the defense in these cases.
Transcripts Reading
Prior to proceeding with examinations, all records including police
crime/arrest reports, evidence reports and depositions can be read to
come up with a strategy pertaining to the case.
